Welcome to On The Hook! Located in the Crossing district of the WaterColor community, this well-appointed home features beach-inspired décor throughout, creating a calm and welcoming retreat. Double front porches greet you out front; the first floor being screened-in with a swinging twin-sized daybed, flat screen TV, Adirondack chairs and a ceiling fan. Inside, an open floor plan invites conversation whether you’re cozied up on the living room couch or perched at the kitchen’s breakfast bar. Just past the kitchen you’ll find the downstairs guest master with queen bed and private bath. The three additional bedrooms are upstairs, as well as a second living area with a queen-size sleeper sofa. The king master is in the front of the house, allowing private access to the second story, covered balcony as well as a private bathroom and ample closet space. The king guest room offers a Jack-n-Jill bathroom, which is shared by guests in the bunk room or on the pull-out couch. Everyone will appreciate flat screen TVs in each room, including the bunk room. When it’s time to explore the outdoors, the Crossing’s community pool is just around the corner, and the beach and newly renovated Camp Watercolor are a short bike or car ride away (approximately 1 mile). There are two designated parking spaces behind the home as well as a gas grill, bike rack and outdoor shower.

NOTE: When booking please provide the correct number of adults and children that will be staying in the home and also in the notes please provide the number of individuals over the age of 5 years old, WaterColor requires a wristband per individual over the age of 5 years old to allow access to the amenities. Children under 5 years old simply must be with an adult at all times. We will not be able to provide additional wristbands after your stay has started, so it is imperative you inform us at least a week before your arrival of any additional people staying in the home that will need a wristband.

Many of the communities along 30A are continuing to expand, so many more individuals can come enjoy the crystal blue waters of the Panhandle. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is construction and all the items that come along with it, such as noise, road blocks, etc. We understand this can be inconvenient for our guests, which is why we have chosen to make all possible guests aware of the possibility of this during their beach vacation. As most of this is outside of 30A Cottages realm of control, we are not able to offer discounts/compensation for any noise complaints, road blockades, etc. during a guest's stay. Please reach out to a team member with any questions you may have!

NOTE: Golf cart rentals in WaterColor must be made through The Electric Cart Company and will be limited to a certain number of vehicles (approximately 45 per week) throughout the community at any given time. Only one cart may be rented per home and rentals will be granted on a first-come, first served basis. Please contact Electric Cart Company directly for availability and pricing.

Parking
On The Hook has designated parking for 2 vehicles behind the home.

WaterColor will only issue two parking passes per property. Any additional vehicles parked in the community without a parking pass displayed could be fined and or towed. WaterColor also has public on-street parking throughout the community for overflow vehicles; parking is on a first come, first served basis and passes must be displayed at all times.

Reservation/Booking Policy
***The cancelation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such as VRBO.com, HomeAway.com, or VacationRentals.com. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.

Had a wonderful time at 181 Sunflower for a week of sun and surf with close girlfriends and family. The house was well equipped and was a very convenient location to the Watercolor community as well as other, outside amenities and stores. Having beach club and community pool access was key. Overall, we enjoyed every minute and would absolutely rent again! The team at 30A were very responsive throughout our entire trip from pre-planning to post-checkout. Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed the home, and it was nicely stocked with the basics like garbage bags and tide pods. I wish I read the brochure earlier because we used the free ride service only a few days. The guy was super friendly and picked us up within 10 minutes every time.

This house was so clean and spacious. It was organized and had amazing amenities such as a tub of dishwashing pods and garbage bags. Which can sometimes be forgotten on a grocery trip. They also had a ton of puzzles and board games which worked out great for my teenagers on the cold off season nights. The management company responded to me so quickly via text which I loved. The location was near a publix. We normally stay in the front by the beach but the condos are smaller. This house was not that far away from seaside at all. It was such a fabulous trip. The swing on the front sunroom porch was perfect to watch tv and do some work on my laptop. 100% recommend staying in this beauty!!!!

We were in town for a beach wedding and the property was flawless. Beds were perfect. Lots of space for everyone to not feel cramped. The bikes were super useful as we didn’t have a rental car, we could be down at the beach/food trucks in a few minutes. Walked to the grocery store our first morning there. My only complaint is that we were gone away from the house so much with family we didn’t get to relax at the house very often. Definitely recommended.

Our first experience staying in Watercolor and we were blown away. The house is in the perfect location for access to the many pools (camp watercolor perfect for kids), Publix, and not far from Seaside. We did rent a golf cart which helped significantly but biking alone would not have been bad. We would absolutely return to this area after having stayed in Grayton and Seagrove as well - best for families of younger kids.

We enjoyed our stay. They house comfortably fit 6 adults and 4 children. The pool close by was great for when the kids were tired of the beach and camp watercolor. The watercolor Trolly was a great service. We were unable to get a rental cart. Highly suggest one to make getting around more convenient.

We had the best time at On The Hook. The cozy house was perfect for our family, giving everyone enough space to be comfortable. We loved the time we spent here. We only had a few issues with the plumbing in one of the master bathrooms. Other than that, our stay was unforgettable, and we highly recommend the cottages to anyone looking for a nice family getaway.

The home is beautifully decorated with a great floor plan. We have stayed visited Watercolor three times in the last year, each time in a different home, and this was our favorite rental yet. It is very close to the neighborhood pool and Publix and just a short bike ride to the beach and other fantastic Watercolor amenities, as well as so many great restaurants. 30a cottages provided excellent service. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous spacious cottage

We typically aren’t beach people but wanted a chill vacation. Based on the photos we thought On The Hook looked amazing. The 30A Cottage staff were super responsive and helpful in booking this for us. They followed up to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was easy to find. Tucked away in a beach community. It’s about a mile or so to the beach but easily accessed with bikes. There are great bike paths all along the community. The cottage comes with 4 bikes to use. The house is just as it appears online. It is quite spacious and can easily sleep 8 comfortably. The kitchen is stocked for cooking. The washer and dryer is super nice to have available. Easy access with a keyless entry. If you rent beach chairs they are near the beach club which is right next door to the Watercolor Inn about a mile and a half from the cottage. I will say that the chairs could use some updating. They were a bit tired. When you stay in this cottage you have access to Camp Watercolor which is an amazing pool complex in the neighborhood across the street. There are 3 pools with food and beverage on site. Get there early to grab a chair because there are limited ones in the shade. There is also a tennis complex where you can pay to rent courts. There are lots of trails to bike ride. Finally you also have access to the Beach Club. It was closed during our visit for renovations but it should be open in the next couple of months. This cottage turned non beach people into beach people! We will be back!

The property was exactly as it looked in the photos. It was a perfect set up for my husband, daughter and her friend. And the bikes were an added bonus. We really enjoyed our time here, so much so that we ended up adding an additional night, which the owner was very accommodating. The only complaint about the property is no towel racks in the bathroom. We were also impressed with the management company. The fire alarm went off the first night we were there and someone can over late that night and again first thing in the morning to fix the problem.

This house was amazing! Everything was clean and well kept. Kitchen had all necessities and was great to cook family meals in. The bikes were a big hit since you could ride them everywhere! The pool is a short walk around the corner with beach located just a short bike ride away. It is also walking distance or biking distance to seaside which we love! Shops, dining,amphitheater with family friendly events! We will return!

This was our first family vacation, our boys' first time at the beach, and my first time renting a home online. There was a lot of pressure on this mom! Of course, I wanted everything to be perfect. From the very first phone call, I was put at ease by Jacklyn and the staff at 30A Cottages and Concierge. Within a few minutes I had the house, bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, a golf cart, and doughnut delivery all set. When we arrived, my husband and kids were super impressed. The house looked just as wonderful as it did online, and everything else went off without a hitch. Nothing short of perfection!
