Welcome to Sand Dollar Retreat, our picture-perfect cottage located in the secluded Village of Sugar Beach! This home showcases southern charm with comfort and high quality combined. The first floor offers an open floor plan with a spacious family room and airy kitchen with stainless-steel appliances. The family room opens to the covered back porch, which is steps away from the community pool. The beach access is located two short blocks from the home across Highway 30A. The home offers four bedrooms; two king masters (one with a private balcony), one king guest bedroom, one queen guest bedroom, and an extra bunk area. This charming cottage is located within a short bike ride to all Seagrove Beach’s hotspots such as Donut Hut, Perfect Pig, & Angelina’s Pizza just to name a few.

Please Note: The homeowner will not honor any reservations that have more than eight adults and/or are related to a wedding or any party. This home is intended for family vacations, sleeping up to 8 adults and 4 children.

Many of the communities along 30A are continuing to expand, so many more individuals can come enjoy the crystal blue waters of the Panhandle. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is construction and all the items that come along with it, such as noise, road blocks, etc. We understand this can be inconvenient for our guests, which is why we have chosen to make all possible guests aware of the possibility of this during their beach vacation. As most of this is outside of 30A Cottages realm of control, we are not able to offer discounts/compensation for any noise complaints, road blockades, etc. during a guest's stay. Please reach out to a team member with any questions you may have!

Community Amenities
The Village of Sugar Beach is a quaint community located in the center of Seagrove Beach with the following amenities provided:
~ 1 Community Pool - located steps from the front porch of the home (pool cannot be heated)
~ Beach access within two short blocks only 0.3 mile from home, Beachwood Villas Public Beach Access (across from the Tom Thumb on 30A). It's about a 5-6 minute walk or a 2 minute bike ride. This is a pedestrian access only via foot/bike, no parking areas available. Or, you can use the One Seagrove Place Public Beach Access, which is just slightly further from the home, 0.4 mile. It's about a 6-7 minute walk or a 3 minute bike ride. This is also a pedestrian access, with no parking available. NOTE: Beach setup reservations are limited to certain locations along 30A, but you can also reserve beach gear to take back and forth from the home if setups are not available at your desired access location.

Parking
Sand Dollar Retreat has parking for four vehicles, there is no street parking available.

(Note: Homeowners do have dogs, therefore anyone with allergies to dogs will need to be conscious of this.)

Reservation/Booking Policy
***The cancelation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such as VRBO.com, HomeAway.com, or VacationRentals.com. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.

~ Except for a 5% cancelation fee, the initial 50% payment is fully refundable if cancelations are given more than 60 days prior to the arrival date
~ Optional travel insurance plans are available to our guests; some restrictions and timelines apply. Ask for details when booking. Insurance must be purchased BEFORE the final payment or at the time the reservation is paid in full.

The house was perfect for our Fall Break trip! Had everything we needed, was super comfortable and spacious and was very clean and well maintained. Pool next door was very convenient! Extra fridge in the laundry room was very nice to have.

Our group had such an incredible vacation at this home. It's the perfect place for a large group and wide age range. TONS of space, great gathering areas, fun games and puzzles to play and work on. Close to the beach, walkable with young kids, and close to Seaside (we biked daily). We are already planning our next stay. Thank you!

We loved this property! Immaculately decorated. Tons of room. Pool is directly next door. Walk to the beach was not bad at all. Restaurant and convenience store also close by. We will definitely book again!

Fun was had by all! We very much enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar Retreat. The house is beautiful and clean. It sits back on a dead end street which was perfect for small children to ride bikes around. Easy beach access taking about 5 minutes. The pool next door was basically ours. We didn't see anyone else there during our entire stay. Great porches, very well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating and even a second beverage fridge! Brilliant!!

Our visit to the Sand Dollar Retreat was outstanding! The house is beautiful! The beds are very comfortable and having 4 1/2 bathrooms available was the best. We took advantage of being only a block and a half away from beautiful, fine-as-sugar sandy beaches, and clear water. We looked forward to early morning walks, and we enjoyed the local donut, pizza, and seafood establishments!

Fantastic stay! It was a short 5-6 minute walk to the public access beach, the pool was nice, and all of the bedrooms were spacious and clean. We utilized the grill to cook burgers and steaks, and it worked perfectly. Thank you!

Perfect house for family and friends getaway

This beach house was perfectly laid out for our group of 3 families (11 people). It provided plenty of space for the kids to hang out upstairs and the adults to relax downstairs. The closest beach access (just a 5 min walk) has 3 flights of stairs. It made it a little challenging to get all of our gear down to the beach. The house owner/manager was very responsive and accommodating with questions and even allowed us to add a day on to our trip at the last minute. It was a fun and memorable vacation!

The house was amazing and great location! We really enjoyed having the pool right next door to the house and most times we were the only ones using it. The walk to the beach was very easy. House had everything we needed with the exception of a blender for frozen drinks. There is a second refrigerator in the laundry which was a nice thing to have. We would definitely stay there again!!!

This property was perfect for our large family, beautiful home. Plenty of space, toys, and games for the kiddos to run and play. Loved the layout and it was nice hanging out on the back porch and in the backyard for some evening downtime. Having the pool right next door was another plus. Definitely recommend this property for large groups.

Nice house

This house was perfect for our family as it had three king size beds with private baths. The bunk room, queen guest room, and pull out couch were great for the kids to sleep on. The pool was not crowded and just steps away. It was shared by only a handful of houses. It is a short walk to the beach. The boardwalk has stairs going down to the beach like most of 30 A. There is only about 40 feet of public beach access right in front of the stairs to the beach. There are condos on either side of the boardwalk that have private beaches that you cannot set up on. However, you can walk down past their private beaches and set up. We stayed in mid July and the beaches were pretty crowded and had lots of seaweed (not sure if the seaweed is a seasonal thing). If going to the beach near the house, get there early. We also visited Grayton public beach and Inlet public beach. They are not too far away, but have to take a car. Both have a ramp to the beach and are nice. With a little bit of walking down the beach, you can have much more beach to yourself compared to the beach access close to the house. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay on 30 A.

Perfect layout for families. Great personal space and common area for families to cook, dine, play games and congregate. Very convenient to have the swimming pool right beside the house. Very well sticked kitchen. Only thing i would suggest is that it could have used more towels in the bathrooms. Over all great experience.

We stayed at Sand Dollar Retreat 6/12-6/19. This property exceeded all expectations!!! The house was equipped with everything we needed including a crockpot, the only thing we felt the kitchen was missing is a blender. The location next to the pool was amazing and most of the time we were the only ones in the pool. The walk to the beach was very easy. Plenty of bath towels supplied. The WiFi service was great and the TV and cable was great. The only negatives were: -the kitchen floor was very creaky -the master bedroom on the second floor the toilet didn’t seem to flush well kept getting clogged and the shower head could have been better Overall a great house! We would 100% rent the house again!

Our family and friends had such a great stay at Sand Dollar Retreat! The location was great (right next door to the community pool) for our family and the house was beautiful. LOVED the screened in porch as well as the swing on the front porch. The bedrooms were perfect and the beds super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking accessories we needed to enjoy all meals at the house. This house felt like home to us! The walk to the beach was only 2 blocks, which was wonderful. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The only complaint I had was in regards to the Seagrove Beach area...there is only a sidewalk on 1 side of 30A as opposed to 1 sidewalk on each side in other areas of 30A -- not a deal breaker for us, but may be for folks looking to ride bikes with smaller children. Overall, I would recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation!
