Finding someplace to eat when on vacation can be challenging. You don't know the restaurants away from home, and "taking a chance" on a bad meal could potentially tarnish an otherwise perfect trip. Lucky for you, we've been here a while, and as locals, we want to share a few of our favorite places to eat. Without any further ado, we present 5 places to eat on your next 30a vacation.

1. Paradis 82 South Barrett Square - Rosemary Beach
Facebook
Amazing food, fantastic service and that signature Rosemary Beach elegance keeps people coming back to Paradis. Located in the heart of Barrett Square, Paradis offers the sort of unpretentious fine dining experience that 30A has become known for. With fresh seafood and steaks headlining the menu, Paradis offers a little bit of something for everyone, assuming you like good times and amazing food.

2. Borago - 80 East HWY 30-A - Grayton Beach
Facebook
Borago has been satisfying customers for nearly 15 years by offering some of the best Italian food we've ever had, 30a or elsewhere. Making the food all the better is the over-the-top service. After you've filled up on dinner, hit the bar scene for a signature cocktail or yummy dessert, and stick around for the good times.

3. Pickle Factory - 38 Clayton Lane, Suite 19 - Santa Rosa Beach
Facebook
On paper, the idea of an authentic Thai restaurant / Pizzeria named "Pickle Factory" might seem a bit "off," but one trip to this Santa Rosa institution will quickly put any worries to rest. Serving some of the best Thai food and gourmet pizza along 30A, Pickle Factory has something for the whole family and is located right near the beach, making it a perfect getaway for an afternoon snack.

4. Crabby Steve's - 10254 E County Highway 30a - Seacrest
Facebook
One of the only gulf front bars on 30A with perhaps some of the best food in the area. The seafood served at Crabby Steve’s is personally my favorite. Steve has been helping set the standard of food on 30A from a point in time when there really just wasn’t that much here to choose from. You can catch him a little “Crabby” at times but you just cannot beat the fellowship, food, drinks and well, the view. There’s only one way to get there and that’s from the beach. Enjoy!

5. 723 Whiskey Bravo - 3031 E Co Hwy 30A - Santa Rosa Beach
Facebook
Looking for someplace to watch the game while you're on vacation? How about someplace to watch the sunset? On 30a, 723 Whiskey Bravo is the place to watch both. The sports bar / restaurant is home to one of the best rooftop patios in the area, offering fantastic gulf views as you eat and drink the night away.
