Ah, brunch—the combination of breakfast and lunch that is irresistibly delicious. From a sunny eggs benedict, to crumbly warm biscuits, eating a yummy brunch is the absolute best way to start your day off on the right foot. Perfection, we might call it. Here on 30A, we are at no loss for fantastic brunch spots, and we’re here to share our favorites with you. So get ready, get set, go brunch!

Great Southern Cafe

Located conveniently in the shops at Seaside, The Great Southern Cafe is a must for brunch. Not only do they offer traditional breakfast fare, such as omelettes and eggs benedict, but their addition of seafood (with a southern twist) is to die for. The “Grits a Ya Ya” takes the cake as our personal favorite, but everything on the menu is an absolute delight. Pick a spot on the covered porch to people watch as you sip on your morning coffee!

The Perfect Pig

Deemed Seagrove’s best “foodie find,” The Perfect Pig offers a delectable breakfast. The space is perfect for anyone—families, kids, and “morning drinkers” alike. The modern, hip space is ideal for enjoying a bellini, while munching on a pulled pork breakfast biscuit (which we highly suggest.) Though it does offer many pork dishes, as the name implies, it boasts many early morning favorites as well, such as breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and pancakes!

Donut Hole

“When in Santa Rosa, thou shalt stop by The Donut Hole….” or at least that’s always been my family's motto. A diner and donut shop rolled into one, this hole-in-the-wall (literally, get it!) not only offers a grand selection of baked goods, but also has a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu—alas, something for everyone! We definitely suggest snagging a few donuts, as the selection is wonderful and they’re cooked fresh each morning. This is a popular spot, so if you want donuts make sure you go before noon (as they tend to run out!)

Cowgirl Kitchen

If you’ve never had a good mexican brunch, you’re seriously missing out. Thankfully, you can fix that at Cowgirl Kitchen—located in Rosemary and Seagrove. Try a traditional “migas” aka a Texas egg scramble, dive into some breakfast tacos, or “ball out” with the king of all brunches—the breakfast burrito. Top it all off with one of their amazing signature drinks. It’s quite an experience so, as their menu states, “If you’re going to rise, you might as well shine… morning!”
