1. Baytowne Ice Rink
Winter just wouldn’t be the same without ice skating! Located at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin, the Baytowne Ice Rink will open late October and runs through February 2. Tickets are $11 per skater for 90 minutes. You can find the full schedule here.
2. Winter Wonderland
Head over to the >Winter Wonderland at Baytowne Wharf Saturday, December 21 for a day of snow-filled fun. Taking place from 9 am - 1 pm, you can slide down the ice slide, make snow angels, and enjoy a day of frosty fun for the whole family!
3. Holiday Champagne Tasting
Get bubbly for a free wine tasting at the Destin Ice Market Friday, December 20 from 4-6 pm. This event is a great way to kick off the holiday season and celebrate the weekend ahead.
4. Beach Ball Drop
Let the countdown begin at the 12th annual New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop at Pier Park on Tuesday, December 31. The event will start at 5:30 pm, featuring family-friendly activities, including the nation’s only family beach ball drop at 8:30 pm, and a New Year’s countdown at midnight.

This 2 bed, 2.5 bath cottage is tucked away in the quaint Bungalows community and has a beautiful view of the surrounding wooded area and wetlands. Both bedrooms have direct access to the shared balcony, perfect for a morning cup of coffee. This cottage is only a couple blocks away from the community hot tub — an ideal spot to warm up in the brisk winter air.
3. The Front Row: Be sure the check The Front Row, an adorable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo facing the St. Augustine Green. The luxurious open floor plan and wraparound porch allow for plenty of room for the kids to play. This home also includes 4 adult bikes with all reservations, perfect for easy transportation throughout the Rosemary Beach community.
The Whole Crowd (Big Groups)
1. Checked Out: There’s plenty of room for everyone when you plan a stay at Checked Out! This 5 bed, 5.5 bath home features a private courtyard, outdoor pool (heating is available upon request with an additional fee), and giant double oven kitchen packed with everything you need for your holiday meal preparations. The home’s unique u-shape gives it a spacious open floor plan and living area, perfect for the whole family to gather.
2. Sea-Esta: Plan a trip for everyone at Sea-Esta. With 6 beds & 6.5 baths, this home can comfortably sleep 15-16 guests, spaced out between its three levels. Equipped with a large covered porch and a kids’ den located on the third floor, this house has a little bit of something for everyone in the family!
