Dip into the water this holiday season. Emerald Coast Hydrobikes and Grayton Beach Catering are teaming up at Tom's Landing in Santa Rosa Beach. Explore the Choctawhatchee Bay at sunset on either a Hydrobike or Klear Kanoo on December 17th, 18th and 22nd, from 3:30-8pm.

You are probably wondering what exactly a hydrobike is. It’s plain and simple; a bicycle that is designed for the water. It’s the most versatile watercraft around! The best part is the elevated seat to keep you dry from the splish and splashing. There’s even a storage compartment for your camera and phone when you aren’t snapping great photos of the water, sunset and of course, taking a selfie! If you’re feeling brave, take a polar bear dip into the water. Hydrobikes make it very easy to jump off of, and climb back on without tipping over like canoe.

After your hydrobike ride, get cozy by the warm campfire. Make sure your roasting skills are up to par for s’more making and hot dog roasting over the open fire. Sip on hot cocoa, apple cider or coffee and sing along with the Christmas carols to get into the holiday spirit. There will even be a reading of “Charlie’s Favorite Christmas” by Cheri Peebles.

Incase the weather gets chilly, dress accordingly. Luckily, the compartment on your hydrobike is large enough to store a jacket for later. Check in is between 3 and 4pm and the campfire will begin at 5pm. To reserve your hydrobike, you can book online at Emerald Coast Hydrobikes or call 850-598-7949. Pricing varies depending on age. $45 per adult, $35 for 12 and under, $15 for 8 and under, and $20 for non hydrobike riding adult.
