The beach is the best place for you to let loose and forget about that diet you’ve been on. Play musical [dining] chairs along 30A. Have a drink, appetizer, dinner, dessert, and dance the night away each at a different location.
Start off your evening at The Craft Bar in Santa Rosa Beach for an extraordinary craft beer on tap, or a handcrafted cocktail. The atmosphere and interior detailing will have you feeling like you are in paradise, as if you aren’t already! The bar top and all of the tables are made from 100-year-old reclaimed Cypress trees that were lifted the Chattahoochee River. Monday-Friday, a selected happy hour menu is available and all items are $5 from 2-6pm!
Make your way to Great Southern Café for a number of delicious appetizers. Southern cooking with an international cuisine style food may give you a hard time choosing from mouthwatering appetizers to order. Crab cakes and fried green tomatoes with roasted red pepper remoulade, duck confit with Billy’s spicy mustard and pepper jelly, or the blue crab claws with a side of warm pita bread are just a few to name.
I hope you still have a big appetite Cafe Thirty A, in Seagrove Beach is next on the list for a casual, yet sophisticated dining experience. The Sesame-Crusted Rare Yellowfin Tuna, Grilled Filet Mignon or Wood Oven Fired Pizzas are a few of Café Thirty A’s scrumptious dinner items. There’s something on the menu for everyone, even the kids! Anything from fish, steak, pasta, chicken fingers, you and the kids will leave with an empty plate and happy face. Every night from 5-6pm, you may purchase one entrée, and get your second entrée (equal or lesser value) for free!
Did you save room for dessert? George's in Alys Beach has a to-die-for dessert menu. The Warm Chocolate Toffee Goo with sweet ice cream, chocolate mousse, and chocolate sauce may be the cherry on top of your progressive evening on 30A. If you’re feeling fruity and sweet, the Strawberry Tart with vanilla bean pastry crème, passion fruit curd, and balsamic drizzle is your go-to treat.
End your evening at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach, a famous destination spot to dance and rock with the music all night long. After the dinner crowd, The Red Bar turns into a funky dancing atmosphere with live music played by Dread Clampitt or The Red Bar Jazz Band. Don’t miss a beat with DJ Vladi is on his ones and twos. The Red Bar has had a number of celebrity spottings, and you could be the next to see your favorite celebrity enjoying live music at the beach.
