Property Description:
Escape the ordinary 30A vacation at Olive’s Cottage, a charming farmhouse-style retreat nestled in a gated community surrounded by oaks and magnolias. The large wraparound porch invites you to relax with the sounds of nature, while the interior’s aquamarine, driftwood, and ivory décor creates a serene coastal ambiance.

The main living area features a cozy brick fireplace, a banquette dining area, and an oversized sofa perfect for relaxing. The fully equipped kitchen boasts marble countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. Comfortably sleeping 8 guests, Olive’s Cottage is ideal for one or two families.

The Hammocks community offers two pools and a nature trail leading to a dock on Western Lake. A short walk or bike ride will take you to the nearby Seagrove Beach access or the neighboring communities of Seaside, WaterColor, and Grayton Beach.

Amazing Stay

Our family of 7 stayed for a week and absolutely loved it! The home was beautiful and had the perfect amount of space for us. Each bedroom had its own full bathroom, which was convenient. The location was perfect - a short walk to the publicly accessible beach, easy access to Publix, a short bike ride to seaside and watercolor. We made great use of the four bikes that came with the reservation as well as the propane grill. Highly recommend Olives cottage and we can’t wait to come back for our next visit.

We loved our time at Olive's Cottage--we were faculty for the Longleaf Writers Conference and it was a nice surprise to have such upgraded furnishing--we hope to stay here again next year!

Olive’s Cottage was clean and comfortable for our extended family spring break. The beds were soft and cozy and the house felt perfectly cleaned prior to our arrival. The bikes were a great perk for getting around town. Location is convenient and easy to access beach and town. We wished the hammocks pool was heated, but that’s the only complaint.

We enjoyed our stay at Olives cottage. Conveniently located with a short bike ride to the beach. The beds were comfortable and perfect for our group. The cottage did not have a tea pitcher, but soon the management company delivered one to us. You need sweet tea on vacation!

We loved staying at Olive's Cottage! Super CLEAN,beautifully decorated,kitchen very well stocked. 7 of us stayed here for a week with plenty of room. Older grandkids loved riding the bikes to Seaside. Anna with 30A Cottages was very friendly & helpful making reservations. Would stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood 10 min walk from beach

Property is located in a quiet tucked away neighborhood a short 10 minute walk from beach. Property was clean, nicely decorated with all needed amenities. One thing to note, beach toys and chairs are not provided. This wasn’t a problem (and was never stated they came with them) we are just used to going to beach houses that unexpectedly have them, so we started to expect to be able to use some things. Neighborhood has two pools that are well maintained which we all enjoyed after our beach visits.

We loved Olive's Cottage! From the moment we walked into the house, it was warm and welcoming (lighting was set and music was playing - such a nice touch). It was convenient to Publix and a short walk to the beach. The older kids loved taking the bikes out. And even though it rained the whole weekend we were there, we had a great time in the comfy living quarters. The layout was great for 2 families of 3 and 5! Would definitely recommend!

The neighborhood is quite and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch as we watched over the kiddos riding the bikes around the home morning and evenings. The home itself is very nice and comfortable. The table was large enough for family of 6 dinners. The bathrooms were spacious. We also appreciate the roko TVs. We aren’t experienced bike riders but, it was a short walk or bike ride to the public beach access, Seaside central Square, Grayton State park and Publix.

My family (husband and kids age 13, 10, 6) enjoyed our stay at this beach rental! The home is well kept, clean and in a great location in the neighborhood. The gated community was very quiet and my kids loved both pools. Getting to the beach was a little tricky for us with all our "stuff". We had rented a golf cart, but there was no golf cart parking. We came up with a system that worked for us but did involve a little back and forth from my husband. The bikes at the home were a great addition! The tv's in the home were all smart tvs and we were able to log into all our netflix, disney+ apps for movies. The kitchen has both a regular drip coffee pot AND a Keurig. The other very minor things that were imperfect for us in this rental are not even worth mentioning. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, quiet property in a great location! Easy walk to the beach. Short bike ride to Seaside town center (with 4 bikes provided) Publix is just down the street for groceries. Everything was ready for our arrival and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time together as a family. (4 adults & 2 teenagers) We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying in Olives Cottage. We rode our bikes or walked to the beach everyday! The house was very clean and well stocked. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Very close to Publix for groceries. The house could use a full length mirror somewhere!

The house is located in a perfectly central location and offers convenience to EVERYTHING from grocery store to beach in a 5 minute bike ride! 7 min ride to Seaside Square! Love & will return!

We loved the setup of Olive’s Cottage. Nicely appointed, good taste and comfortable . Access to the beach was very nearby and biking to the food trucks and shopping was easily manageable. The only problem was that the ice maker in the frig was not working. Maintenance responded promptly and brought ice for us to use. It was a great get-away and my family would liove to stay there again.
