Welcome to Sand Crab Cottage – where luxury meets beachside comfort. Kids will delight in the bright coral bunk room and expansive brick patio, perfect for sidewalk chalk and outdoor play. Adults will enjoy elegantly appointed bedrooms, custom draperies, and Carrera marble countertops throughout.

The open main living area connects seamlessly to the gourmet kitchen and cozy den, making it easy to prep meals while staying part of the conversation. French doors open to the screened-in porch, featuring a gas fireplace and mounted TV – ideal for cozy evenings or casual dining with the sounds of nature in the background. The front porch swing offers a peaceful spot for reading, napping, or relaxing while waiting for your beachbound crew.

Set on one of the largest lots in WaterColor and backing up to the State Forest, Sand Crab Cottage provides tranquil privacy while keeping you close to community amenities. From Camp WaterColor and the beach to Seaside’s food trucks, everything is just a short walk, bike ride, or golf cart drive away.

Guest Requirements:

When booking, please provide the exact number of adults and children. WaterColor requires wristbands for all guests 5+ years old to access amenities (pools and beach). Wristbands cannot be issued after arrival, and a maximum of 12 guests is allowed per home.

Our family has rented a home in Watercolors for the last 5 years. Sand Crab Cottage through 30A Cottages has been the best. 30ACottages staff were very easy to deal with and were very attentive. The house was in very good shape and clean. They added some nice welcome touches also. We liked it so much we have already booked the same house for next year

Loved this home. This was our 4th time to Watercolor and this was our favorite home. The back patio and open concept is so awesome. The bunk room was also perfect for all the kids. And nice to be on a quiet cul de sac. Also love that the kitchen is fully stocked with pots/ pans/ etc to be able to cook at home.

Memorable stay at Watercolor

Our beautiful home at Watercolor exceeded expectations. The community is very accessible by bicycle or walking. Our location was several blocks from a beautiful neighborhood pool and a short distance to the “Watercolor Beach Club” pools & one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. The management was easily reachable at all times and provided immediate service when we had an air conditioning issue. Their warmth and hospitality was exemplary. Hope to return soon.

This house was nothing short of amazing. My family was SO happy here. The neighborhood is beautiful and has so many family friendly amenities (multiple pools, tennis, beach). We would rent this property again . It was very clean and appealing. The bathrooms where sparkling clean. Let the owners know with my permission we liked their home . We also kept it clean as if we owned it ourself . We have rented numerous times at watercolor since 2009 . Please email us any rentals available in October 2023 so we can begin our next search for a rental .

What an amazing house for our first time visiting Watercolor. July is a very busy month and the location of the house was perfect to escape the crowds and is situated back in a very quiet cul-de-sac. House is very spacious with an amazing open concept kitchen/family room. We definitely plan on visiting again!

This was a beautiful home and well maintained by owners. The house has everything you need for your stay and is a quick golf cart ride to Publix and the Beach / pool. The main level entertaining, dining and kitchen area is massive with high ceilings - perfect for large families. Back screened porch is very nice and bug free with TV and fireplace. Bedrooms are big and bunkroom is a fun space. Enjoyed it!!!

This is a beautiful property. It's located on a quiet street, free from traffic and fairly close to the pool and camp watercolor. The house was well stocked and there was a lot of sleeping capacity. This was by far our favorite property at Watercolor.

Our family had a wonderful stay after making lemonade out of lemons from the ice storm that hit Memphis in early February 2022 causing massive power outages, downed trees and power lines, all of which impacted our house. We enjoyed our impromptu stay and look forward to coming back during a 'normal' vacation!

Our family loved the house a lot, it is super comfortable and beautiful house (very well equipped). All rooms are well confit . The house is exactly as shown in the photos.It has everything to have a good time during your vacation and everything is close, only 1 mile from the beach club but its closer to their other pools, the trails, etc. we would definitely return to this beautiful and very enjoyed house. Great Place to stay … don't think to much about this house... because its Gorgeous!!!

Overall, we had an excellent experience at Playmore. The house was very clean on arrival and the pictures accurately depicted the accommodations. We cooked each night and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, and various serving utensils. The beds were comfortable and the house was cool (good AC). We love Watercolor and all the swimming options. The only thing I questioned was the 1 role of toilet paper/bathroom. I had a toddler and a grandmother traveling with us and knew that would not be enough-seemed kind of ridiculous having to travel with extra toilet paper. 30A Cottages was great! Every email was answered promptly. Your service was excellent. I would rent Playmore again and use 30A Cottages without a doubt.

4 couples stayed here very comfortably for a relaxing family getaway. We loved the large family room and kitchen and played games at night on the screened-in porch. We cooked most of our meals at the house and found the kitchen well equip. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We loved staying at the Playmore House. It is beautifully decorated and has plenty of space. The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking. The location is a quick bike ride or walk to Camp Watercolor pool and a 5 minute drive to the beach club. This is our first time to Watercolor in the summertime and we loved it. We have been 2 other times over spring break which we stayed at the Watercolors Resort and a different property. We would definitely consider this property again the next time we come back!

We really enjoyed this house. It's beautifully decorated, well stocked, roomy, comfortable and quiet. The screened in back porch with fireplace was a great place to hang out and we appreciated the bundles of firewood that were included. I'd definitely come back.

Amazing Stay

We had a Girls Weekend and it was amazing!! We had 7 women stay the weekend and this house could not have been more perfect. It is beautifully furnished with every amenity you can imagine. It was chilly so we had a fire in the fireplace on the back porch and it was wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and supplied. There was plenty of space for all of us to relax and plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for privacy.

Wow - this home is gorgeous. Beautiful decor, clean, spacious, and top of the line everything (Sub-zero and Wolf appliances, beautiful bathrooms). We will definitely be back. The bunk room was so cool, the kids loved it! The beds were very comfy. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and had so much room. The coffee table is large and perfect for family game nights (the house has plenty of family games to play). The dining room seats 10 very comfortably and was great for family dinners. We went with our entire family (10 people) to celebrate Nana's 70th bday and we had an amazing time!! Can't say enough good things about the home. The layout is perfect - in fact I want to build this same layout at home now! About 30A Concierge: They were outstanding! Easy booking process, very informative leading up to our stay, always very responsive when we had questions, overall A+! It would have been nice to have a map of the Watercolor area and amenities with our welcome packet, especially the pools. But we made do with our phones. Overall if you stay here and you book with 30A, you won't be disappointed! We'll definitely be back.

The care that the owners and management company has is obvious from the moment you walk in the door. A generous amount of windows lets in plenty of natural light and surrounding beauty. The open floor plan was perfect for our group, yet the bedrooms are located in such a manner as to provide privacy when needed. We were initially concerned that this location would be a considerable distance from where we wanted to be, but that wasn’t the case at all. Everything was close and easily accessible and our neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Thank you. We’ll be back.

Playmore was a wonderful beach house to accommodate 4 teenagers, my wife and I. Plenty of spacious rooms with great bathrooms. (All girls!) I thought the location was perfect in a tucked away culdesac and having great bikes to get around available was wonderful. Took me just minutes to get to the Publix and back on my 56 trips I had to take when someone needed something, (I don't think I'm exaggerating) 30A Cottages was great to work with and they accommodated us well on every request. Truly a wonderful group of people, friendly and courteous. I encourage any family to rent this property. We will be back!

Playmore Spring Break

What a fabulous vacation for two families including six children! The photos and description very accurately portray this property. We had room to spread out with two comfortable living spaces. We loved the location, convenient to everything that Watercolor and Seaside have to offer, but tucked away on a quiet street. We enjoyed the quick bike ride to two pools and only a little farther to the beach, Beach Club, and Seaside. The back porch and yard were private and comfortable for all of us to enjoy! Heather, from 30A Cottages & Concierge, was a pleasure to work with and helped make this a true vacation for us all!

We rent every summer for the past 6 years in Watercolor. This home is by far our favorite! It is not only beautiful, but well laid out for two families with 3 kids each. The management company was the best we have worked with. They were very attentive to every detail and answered our every call promptly and above expectation. Though we love renting a different home each year, Playmore will definitely be a consideration for next year!

Wonderful home with great amenities. As someone who loves to cook and entertain i was impressed by the well-stocked kitchen and glassware. most rentals have cheap knives and pans so we brought our own. happy to say i never unpacked them. 5 minute bike ride to the beach was easy for the kids and the double master was nice since we were traveling with another family. Tried to rent the house again in July and it was booked so it is definitely in demand. would stay here again for sure.

Great Memories at Playmore

House was beautiful with a great layout. We stayed at a house two years ago with a simular layout but this one had a bigger and much nicer downstairs bedroom. We were there for a family wedding and our home was a great place to gather with so much open living space. There were lots of beach chairs and toys available for the guests to use. It was a little further from Seaside and the beach than we had been before but we love riding bikes so it just gave us a little more of a workout.

The Playmore was a fantastic home for a relaxing week of vacation in Watercolor. It is close to the Frog Pool and all of the interconnecting trails for biking and exploring Watercolor. The house wonderfully accommodates those traveling with Grandparents, as there is a wonderful master with en-suite bathroom on the main floor, with another master (with an amazing bathroom) and two beds/two baths on the second floor. The screened in porch offers another living space, perfect for dining, coffee, and board games, with a wonderful breeze! The house is well decorated and provides all the essential for cooking and bathing. A great place!

We had a wonderful time with our family of 8. We enjoyed biking, the beautiful landscaping and all the trails! We will definitely return next year. My only recommendation would be some info on how the doors lock. We never were able to figure out how to lock up at night. Thanks for the great memories!!
