The Space
Take It Easy is exactly what its name suggests—a serene retreat designed for effortless relaxation. The bright, open living area features stacking sliding doors that create seamless indoor/outdoor living, opening to a private backyard oasis. Enjoy the plunge pool, daybed swing, trellis-wrapped Jasmine, string lights, and patio seating. The outdoor grill and dining area accommodate family and friends with seating for eight at the table and four at the kitchen island.

The gourmet kitchen boasts wood-stained cabinets, leathered granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, dual-ice maker refrigerator, and gas range with drawer microwave. The first-floor King Master Suite features double sinks and a walk-in shower, with a half bath also located on this level. Upstairs, three guest bedrooms each have private baths, and a loft area provides additional space for relaxing. Step outside to easily access the community basketball court or use the enclosed outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Gulf Place—with popular local restaurants like Shunk Gulley and Perfect Pig—is just down the road.

Beach Access

  • Ed Walline Regional Beach Access is only 0.3 miles away—a 5–7 minute walk or 1–2 minute bike ride. This public access at the end of Hwy 393 features parking, restrooms, outdoor showers, and on-site beach chair rentals.

Golf Carts

  • One golf cart rental is allowed per home, making it easy to explore 30A and visit area restaurants and the beach.

Pool Heating

  • Pool heating is available November–April, but cannot operate effectively if outdoor temperatures drop below 50°F.

Parking

  • Driveway accommodates up to four vehicles.

Policies

  • No smoking
  • Pets not allowed (service animals permitted with advance notice and documentation)
  • Published rates do not include tax and fees
  • 50% due at booking; balance due 60 days prior to arrival
  • Cancellations more than 60 days prior: initial 50% fully refundable minus 5% processing fee
  • Optional travel insurance available
  • Check-in: 4:00 PM CST | Check-out: 10:00 AM CST
  • Tenant must be at least 25 years old and present during the rental period

This house is right up the street from the beach, less than a 10 minute walk. It was the best maintained home we have stayed in along 30a. The kitchen is well stocked and we needed nothing while we were there. The pool is a great escape from the beach when you are done for the day. The management company was fantastic to work with. I will definately stay here again!

Unfortunately, it can be rare to find a listing that lives up to the pictures, but Take-It-Easy certainly did. Great property that likely looks better in person than the pictures with a convenient location just a short walk to the beach. The floor plan was perfect for our adult family of seven and the patio and privacy of the back yard was great. Highly recommended.

This home is gorgeous inside. We all loved it. Bathrooms in every bedroom. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pots , pans and utensils. Great location. Loved the porch and pool! Pillows were hard so bring your own. They only supply 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Bring your bath soap as well. These are minor things but good to know so you don’t have to keep running back to the store. Get a golf cart! Parking at the beach is tight.

We had a great experience! The host was very responsive and quick to tend to any issues we ran into. The propane tank was empty and they quickly issued us a reimbursement for replacing it. The home itself was in walking distance to the local beach access. This access is very crowded ( as most are on 30a) . Plan to arrive early to get an ocean front spot. The home was clean and cozy! The backyard was a great private oasis with just enough pool for the kids to play while we prepared dinner! Right through the back gate was also a full basketball court, such a fun surprise! Bring basketballs though. The included bikes were also a great bonus. Overall we were very impressed and would definitely stay again!

This home is as pictured and fit my family well. The communication that they gave us was awesome. I loved how they provided great information on things surrounding the area and had a book with great information. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and will be booking with them in the future. We didn’t use any of the community features such as the pool as we spent a great deal of our time at the beach (which is like a 2-3 min walk not bad at all) and in the pool in the backyard.

We had a wonderful time at Take-it-Easy. The home is large and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was very clean upon our arrival. We will stay here again for sure. The only negative thing I can think of for us was the Public beach access was VERY crowded, but I would definitely not let that stop me from staying here again. I recommend renting a golf cart and using one of the larger beach accesses that are not as close to the house. The Dune Allen access is smaller compared to the other beach accesses in the area which are only a couple minutes away. If you are looking for privacy and a relaxing vacation with family Take it Easy is the place to be.

it's well worth, not a far walk to the beach. It's a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. It was very easy to communicate with them. When I come back, definitely booking again!!

This house is a GEM. if it's available during your dates, SNAG IT. The location is fantastic - we walked to the beach every day with our beach wagon, and it's within walking distance to several awesome restaurants. It's just a short drive from Seaside and the more "popular" things to do as well. The house itself is roomy (we loved that everyone got their own bathroom) and the dipping pool outside is the shining star. we used it every day along with that hanging porch swing. LOVE!

We absolutely loved our stay for our family vacation. This house is set up perfectly. We all had our own bathrooms and bedrooms that were very private. The main master downstairs was perfect for my in laws. There was enough seating for all 8 adults and 3 kids. The pool is small but the kids had an absolute blast with it being right in the back yard. The outside pergola with a swing and tv made the most relaxing stay even better. We had one issue and the company responded immediately and had it fixed the same day. 5 minute walk to the beach or a 2 minute bike ride. We would come back here anytime!

This house and location were perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of bedrooms everyone had their own room with one to spare, every possible convenience was thought of, and if it wasn't links for where we could find them were provided well before we showed up. We had 2 two-year-olds and an 11-year-old so we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the house. The location is literally a 5 min walk to the beach we packed up the wagon and strolled down every day. When we got tired and needed to come back we would hang out by the pool for the afternoon and keep the party going.

Take it Easy was the perfect house for our family of 8 that included my husband and myself and our 2 grown daughters and their husbands and our 2 little granddaughters! Each couple had their own room with a king bed and a bathroom and there was another room for the little girls. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of room for gathering in the living room or dining room or patio. The patio was my favorite part! The bed swing was so comfy and the pool was just the right size! The string lights were nice at night. We even played some basketball on the court behind the house. The location of the house was very close to Gulf Place and the beach access but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed riding bikes and rented a golf cart too. We had a wonderful vacation and no trouble at all with communication with 30A cottages. I hope we can comeback to this house next year!!

One of our favorite properties that we have ever stayed at. If you have the opportunity to book this beautiful home - DO IT! We loved the very large bathroom for each bedroom. The backyard with the lights, swing, pool, and privacy was magnificent. The layout of the home allowed everyone to have privacy. The location was PERFECT. The small walk to the beach and restaurants was amazing. And the bikes and bike paths in the area are fantastic. Everything was amazing. The owners should be very proud of this home and the way they share it with others is very much appreciated. BRAVO!!

This home provided the perfect place for our family to stay for our daughters wedding at Monet Monet in Grayton. Wonderful arrangement for entertaining. Really appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was for cooking and entertaining. Just wish the pool could have been heated as it was to cold to use.

This home was perfect for our family. It was clean, spacious, and had a well stocked kitchen for making most of our meals. We were within walking distance to the beach with 4 young kiddos. Great restaurants also near the beach and within walking distance. Communication with rental company was fantastic. Hoping to book this house again in the future!

Exceeded expectations. My adult children, our two grandchildren, and my wife’s mom easily accommodated with room to spare. Open living area and patio area. That darned porch swing! I bet every man has to go home and wait for the credit card receipt when the wife buys one.
